Terrhonda is currently leading Event Planning, Outreach, and Capacity Building at the Chicago Rehab Network (CRN), a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for affordable housing in Illinois. In pivotal role, Terrhonda implements outreach initiatives and capacity-building activities, emphasizing the critical intersection of program execution and communications for social change advocacy. She manages existing capacity-building efforts while also creating new opportunities for growth and collaboration. Through her leadership, Terrhonda enhances CRN’s voice, reputation, and influence within the field.

Terrhonda is a dedicated Board member for the Far South Chicago Coalition, collaborating with LISC to develop the Quality-of-Life Plan the city's south side. With a strong background in community service, she served as the Regional Events and Volunteer Coordinator at Mercy Housing Lakefront, where she successfully managed over 500 volunteers annually and orchestrated the organization's two major fundraising events. Additionally, Terrhonda has significantly contributed to Chicago's LGBTQ community at Alexian Brothers Housing and Health Alliance, progressing from Resource Development Coordinator to Manager of Development and Outreach during her five years there. Her commitment to enhancing the lives of in need is evident in every role she undertakes.

Terrhonda brings extensive nonprofit experience with two terms as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at Habitat for Humanity Chicago South Suburbs. Before her time with AmeriCorps VISTA, she served as the Resource Development Coordinator at Southstar Services, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. With a background as a Producer at WFLD-Fox News Chicago, Terronda holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in from Columbia College Chicago. Passionate about serving the underserved, she is dedicated to supporting the homeless population through personal donations and volunteer efforts.
